Hello, Nicole.
I like to use the technology in my classroom. But it takes long time to prepare and more difficult to get student's attention. And I am kind of machine-unhappy (?) person!! But I was impressed by the instrutors here who use a lot of materials and useful technology. I wanted to learn how it works, but sometimes I'm a little lazy. I think I should be more passionate in learing something new. bye~

I usually use powerpoint or CD to teach my students in class. But these days teachers are required to improve skills of using technology such as making a class blog and adding or editing sound files in the documents. Yes, I think it helps to get students' attention in class.

Hi, Nicole~~~

I think the knowledge of technology is helpful for being a better teacher. But just knowing the skills is not enough. If you become a better teacher with more skills, you should be diligent, I think. That's why I always admire you as a good teacher. ^^
Sometimes I learne some skills during the vacation. But it is very difficult to use them as teaching materials.

Hi, Nicole.
Actually, I wasn't interested in technology except sometimes watching soccer matches through internet. Before you gave us blogger assignments, I have never joined any messenger sites. While you and other instructors are teaching here by using technology, I realized that it is very helpful to us to make use of modern technologies, especially for English speaking skills. I think Using blogger is the case. So I do really appreciate your thoughtful consideration.

Honestly, I don't know about the science well. especially related to the machines. but I'm interested in the universe. for example, stars, unknown planets, moon, galaxy, comet, etc.
In addition, the technoloy of science will help with my class. computer skill, common sense about science will be helpful.

Hello, energetic Nicole!!
I'm sure that the knowledge of technology is necessary and useful in class. But it usually takes long time to make good materials for the class. Sometimes I use the technology, but I don't enjoy it. But I am under impetus from the instrutors here. To improve my computer skill, I'll try to use it frequently.

Hello, Nicole.
I cannot manage software well. I have used just CD in my class. But I realized that the knowledge of technology could be very useful in the classroom here. So I learned one computer skill(Sound wave program) under this tough knue situation. It will help me a lot in my classroom later.

Hi Nicole
I've used "Daum Wiset". I like the term,"wiset". It seems 'wise+set'.
Am I right?

I'm not good at computer work and I don't want to spend too much time to do that. It takes much time but sometimes, it's very useful and effective to attract students and deliver the contents clearly. So I think, the best way is sharing. If we share the good contents made by each teacher, we don't have to spend too much time. We have many web sites to do that these days, so I thank internet.
As I said today, many of my students are interested in UCC. With the UCC, students can practice their English and have some confidence. To teach "Media natives", I should learn more and more as a "Media immigrant". Thank you for the expressions.

Hello, Nicole

It's the first comment that I put on your blog.

Since I am young, I am used to some technology. And in my classroom, I tried using videos, music, and PPTs. But many times, they were less effective. Of course, they can help me, but I guess I also need to know when and how to use them.

I think you make neat PPTs. Thank you~~

I rely on new technology much on teaching. I really think it a powerful tool. Languse is a skill. That means it needs enermous practice and usage in real life.
Sometimes I record thier real life and show them and ask them to express in English. The biggest barrier in Korea is an environment far from English. As you know, without using in daily life, Enlgis is just knowledge in textbook. Blogs or community on the internet can supply a good environment to use English.
